[hotel verse]
The masquerade ball has taken over the second floor of the hotel. People move about, beautiful and glittering and masked.
Barma watches Al quietly, from afar.

No teasing now. Al takes him deeply into his mouth and begins to show him exactly how much he knows what he's doing.

/slips in
"Oh-oh my, excuse me," he says in his normal voice, and turns on his heel to go back in the other direction.
He is not just tipsy- no, he is quite wasted.

Until he realizes whoever it is can barely walk.
"... oh dear," he whispers, giving Barma a glance before going to help "her". It wouldn't be good if she passed out in the maze like this.
"Are you all right?"
no subject
Amused, he tucks himself away.
"What brings you out here this late?"
no subject
"Oh well, my escort was just telling me a rather funny joke about a salamander walking into a pub!" He laughed for a moment and then stopped- "Or was it a duck?"
He looked at Al a moment since he was closer and his eyes widened a bit, "I know you." He put a gloved finger to Al's lips flirtatiously, a bit of his hair falling in front of his face.
He would have made a prettier woman . . . had he not been so drunk.

Al reaches up gently to take the lady's hand, kissing it politely. She looked so familiar, and the voice sounded like him, but...
Jacqueline? he looks back, mouthing the name to Rufus.
no subject
He explains, quietly.
"-well, sort of. Jacqueline, this is Alphonse, my close companion."
no subject
"Rufus," he's pouting, "Love, you were having fun without me?" Jack isn't standing well, especially considering that these are the highest heels he has ever worn.
"Wait a minute," Jack tried to clear his head and stand straight at the same time, "Alphonse?" It clicked.
Jack leaned over and practically giggled into Barma's ear, "Darling, please do go back to what you were doing. I'm sorry I interrupted."

Though he goes quiet and defers utterly to Rufus in this matter, subservient and sweet, his hand hovers around the small of her back, guarding her.
He hasn't quite put it together. But somehow, this is Jack. What he doesn't know is if it's the Jack he knows.
He clears his throat. "Are you feeling all right?"
no subject
He suggests to Al, moving Jack carefully towards the altar they'd been playing up against a moment ago.
"Give her a second to find her balance, then we can get her back inside and to bed. Silly goose."
Utterly indulgent.
:/
"I'm right here, you realize." Oh no, Jacqueline wasn't going anywhere. She was going to get to play too, even if she only got to watch.
LMAO
Al gives a soft sputter, then can't help but smile, leaning in to slide up "her" mask.
"You're a little hard to miss," he tells him, fond and wry. "I wonder what we should do with you, now that you're here?" he glances over at Rufus.
no subject
He leans in to kiss her throat idly, before giving Al a quick, encouraging smile. This is going to be lovely.
/passes out, night guys, welcome to play around him if you like
"Alphonse saved me when I was changed to-chained to the bed," Jack smiled and leaned in a little to far to whisper a bit too loud to Rufus, "I like him, darling. I may keep him, right?"
/gonna follow actually
"You both may, if you like."
Though the voice is quiet, the offer is utterly sincere and heartfelt.
night night!
He decides, proclaiming quietly,
"has a place at our sides so long as he should desire it. Together or separate."
Promising.

Urging her to lay back, slowly.
"Maybe not quite the same explanation, but something like it. Although I doubt you're much of a virgin sacrifice either, my lady."

Al taps his lower lip, giving Jack a hard-to-read sort of look.
CHOICES.

He decides, cheerfully.
