The masquerade ball has taken over the second floor of the hotel. People move about, beautiful and glittering and masked.

Barma watches Al quietly, from afar.

"Where can we hide?" Al asks, leaning down and over him, brushing Jack's hair aside to brush his lips up against his neck.

Barma proposes, nipping Jack's other ear.

Jack laughs again, far too preoccupied with how adorable both of them are to really follow what is going on exactly, "Where ever we go let's do get there quickly."

Whether red in the face from the wine or the touches, it didn't matter. He had these two together in the same place at the same time, so they had better make the most of it.

Al checks where the moon falls, making a nearly black shadow on one side of the hedges.

"There," he murmurs, pointing it out. He gives them a mischeivous smile, quite nearly a smirk, and trails his fingers down Jack's thigh before he moves to scoop him up without any apparent trouble.

"Rufus? Where should I put her?"

Dodo steps in, and closes the hedge around them, so they're in their own small room.

Jack watched as the hedge was formed, "Why do I feel as though I've only been saved from the lesser of two evils?"
