Barma wakes up an hour or so later, yawning.

Reaching to check on Al right away.

"I love you," he whispers, half-laughing against his skin.

"And it means everything that you believe in me this much."

"I'm glad."

Smiling.

"Sometimes a little faith is all it takes."

[al_truism]

"Sometimes," he whispers back, and nibbles his neck, shifting under him.

"... tell me a fantasy. Or something you want to try."

[duke_of_illusions]

"I want to take you to more kink events, but with stricter standards of behaviour. A day for it."

Soft, stroking his cheek.

"Where you have to ask me permission to speak, where anyone who wishes to speak to you must ask me permission first. Where I sit and you rest your cheek on my knee and don't move."

[al_truism]

"I'd enjoy being your pet," he whispers back.

"I'd love all of that."

"It would take tremendous discipline- and it might be very freeing for you."

[al_truism]

"Exactly."

Al gives a pleased little shiver, all the way down to his toes.

"Someone likes it."

Laughing.

[al_truism]

"I like belonging to you," he huffs, softly, blushing.

"And you're the only one who treats me this way."

[duke_of_illusions]

"I hope you know it doesn't mean anything sinister."

[al_truism]

"Why would I think that?"

Al kisses his cheek, his chin.

[duke_of_illusions]

"If everyone else tells you differently-"

[al_truism]

"If anybody tries to tell me differently, they'll be wrong."

Firmly.

[duke_of_illusions]

"Good."

Smiling.

"I'm glad to know that."

[al_truism]

"I never doubt you," he tells him, firmly.

"I don't think that anything we do is wrong, and I don't regret any of it. Ever. Even the things that shake me up."

[duke_of_illusions]

"Good."

Smiling.

"Next time."

[al_truism]

"This time?"

Al cuddles up to him, hopefully.

[duke_of_illusions]

"Mmhm. We'll take you to that club and shake you a little more."

[al_truism]

"Do it," he tells him, a touch commanding because he knows it will rile him.

[duke_of_illusions]

Barma lets out a low, dark chuckle.

"Don't push in this state, Al."

[al_truism]

"This is the state I most want to push from," he whispers, confessing, squirming again underneath him, pushing his still-bare body up against Barma's.

"I'm already so there, it wouldn't take much at all-"

[duke_of_illusions]

"Do you understand that it's risky? That it might prolong, might feel a little dark-"

[al_truism]

"I know," he whispers back, lips pressed right to his ear.

"I want it. I want all of that, all of you."

[duke_of_illusions]

The world goes absolutely black. Blacker than the darkest night, without a speck of light in it, and Barma is suddenly out of arm's reach.

[al_truism]

Yes.

The thrill runs down his toes, despite the fact that he's left groping in the dark for him.
