Al had stayed over last night... and hasn't quite left this morning, either. The day is stretching on, and Barma is still beautifully comfortable, now immersed in a book, as his fingers trail through Al's hair.

"Red, and more importantly, don't hesitate on a yellow."

He whispers to him, fingertips coming up to trace the seal.

"It's my spirit," he whispers, breathing slowly, though it's cut off when Rufus touches him again. The sensitivity is almost painful.

He just does that, slow, gentle, and careful.

"A-Ah..."

He breathes, squirms.

"Relax into it."

He urges, still not changing what he's doing.

It takes concentrated effort, but he's able to calm himself.

"Feels good..."

"Yeah?"

Smiling.

"S'intimate... deeper than just my body..." his voice is soft, floating.

"Wouldn't let someone I didn't love do this."

"I remember."

Making small circles with his fingertips now.

The change in touch gets a low whimper.

"Is it getting lighter?"

"Dunno how to describe..."

"Breathe."

Reminding him.

"Just feels."

It's not very coherent, but he's breathing properly.

"Yes, I know. Now keep breathing."

Laughing softly.

The more he does it, the more Al relaxes... and the more his mind unravels itself, leaving only feeling behind.

"Oh, you're too pretty."

He complains, just quietly.

He makes another sound for him, unsteady in the sitting position.

"Lay down...? Or hang onto you..."

"Yes, pet."

Picking him up, gently, moving him towards the bed.

Al manages to hold on, coming back to himself a little bit. He'd expect to be on edge, but it's comfortable.

He deliberately gives him that moment to breathe, kissing his cheek, stroking his hair, settling him down.

Al shuts his eyes and relaxes against him, loving him for knowing that he needs this.

"Hello there."

He smiles at him.

"You look nice like this."

That earns him a smile, though he can't quite respond.

Barma thinks about it, and decides to opt not to continue. Al needs a little more moderation in his life. So he kisses the top of his head, and hums in pleasure.
