Al had stayed over last night... and hasn't quite left this morning, either. The day is stretching on, and Barma is still beautifully comfortable, now immersed in a book, as his fingers trail through Al's hair.

"But this time- just the self-care I described, all right?"

"Of course."

He grins.

"I think I'm going to enjoy this."

He predicts, firmly.

"I'm going to make sure you do."

Al grins, kissing his jaw. He's getting a bit bolder.

It makes him smile, responding, pulling him in close.

"I thought about you."

Al gladly presses against him, warm and calm.

"What did you think about?"

"About you, having that shower. Watching that ink."

[al_truism]

"Did you do it too?" he whispers in his ear.

"I did. Under the water, so I could pretend you were there with me."

"Was it good?"

Al nibbles on his ear softly.

"It brought me to my knees."

He confesses, low and soft.

"You are very good for my ego," he whispers, nuzzling him. He's flushing darkly.

"And you are very good for me."

Kissing him, softly.

"But I should send you home, before I drag you in again. I want you bright eyed for tomorrow, after all."

Al hums, leaning into it.

"All right. You sleep well too."

"I will."

He promises.

"Go. Don't worry."

Al leans in for a warm kiss, and then does. He'll be back.

Barma lies back to read, rest, and wait.

Al takes the time mostly alone. He could wander the hallways, but that would put him at risk for the Hotel's whims.

After a long hot bath and a good breakfast, he deems it safe to head back over to Rufus.

He debates on bringing a tea tray- but does to be safe. He has it with him when he knocks.

Barma opens the door and smiles at him.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm doing well. And you?"

He steps inside, searching for a place to set the tray down.

"Quite well. Shall we have this now, or save it for aftercare?"

"Whatever you like."

Al smiles and leans back against the desk, watching him. So unassuming.

Barma smiles and shuts the door.

"I'm quite eager to begin."

Al's eyes follow him, and the smile deepens, eyes shining. Really, he's happiest like this.

Barma crosses to him, to give him a deep kiss.

He feels impossibly close to him, in these moments.
