Al had stayed over last night... and hasn't quite left this morning, either. The day is stretching on, and Barma is still beautifully comfortable, now immersed in a book, as his fingers trail through Al's hair.

"I could tell you not to touch yourself."

He kisses him.

"For a day. Two, if I felt cruel. Send you off, then come find you again."

Al flushes, darkly.

"That would be really difficult."

Especially for someone stuck permanently at age sixteen.

"And the punishment would be very cruel."

He agrees, watching him.

"What would it be?"

More interested than worried.

"I'm not sure."

He muses.

"Something that genuinely hurts you. There are different kinds of pain, after all."

Al does look a little bit worried at that. His fingers close in Barma's shirt.

"No?"

Soft, earnest.

"I'll always put you back together, Alphonse."

Al nods.

"Yeah... you would."

"But, for today, just the crop."

He smiles, and steps back.

"Undress as far as you're comfortable with."

Al nods, and steps back to start taking his clothes off.

He hesitates a bit, but then takes all of it off.

Barma goes to strip a little as well, and returns to him, shirtless, with his pants and boots still on, his hair tied back in a loose knot.

"You're beautiful," Al whispers out, without thinking.

"...thank you."

Surprised.

"You act like you didn't know that."

"It isn't an adjective I typically hear."

Stepping in to bend, kissing Al's shoulder.

"But I like that you think so."

"I always think so," he confesses, brushing a stray strand of hair from his face.

"Where would you like me?"

"Standing, middle of the room."

Gesturing with the crop.

"Yes sir."

Taking a deep breath, he moves. Usually he's bent over something; he's not sure of what to expect this time.

He starts just like the narration did, reaching out the crop to touch the tip to Al's lips.

Half a heartbeat, but then he kisses it softly, watching him through strands of hair.

"What are your safewords?"

He asks, trailing the tip of the toy over his chin, down his throat, along his chest.

"Yellow and red," he murmurs. Best to keep it simple. He's breathing deeply, watching him. Neither of them will be able to forget how much he can take.

"I want you to 'yellow' if it starts to hurt."

He says, simply.

"The goal today is to experience something pleasurable. Never let the pain outstrip your endorphins. If you let them, they can stay ahead of everything you're feeling, leaving you warm and needing throughout."

"If it starts to hurt how much?"

Al frowns, a little hesitant.

Firm.

"It won't, if I do this right. Not really. Shall we begin?"
